Who we are Our team Our trustees Trustee Recruitment Cardiff City FC Community Foundation (the Foundation) is the official charity of Cardiff City Football Club. We use the unique appeal of Cardiff City FC to change lives. Our goal is to support children, young people and families in South Wales to achieve their full potential. We achieve our goal by creating opportunities for people to lead healthier lives, improving education and employment opportunities and reducing offending and reoffending. The Bluebirds Charity are looking to appoint a number of trustees to sit on the Board of Trustees for the official charity of Cardiff City Football Club. We are currently recruiting Trustees with the following skills and experience: Safeguarding Communications Third Sector Fundraising This role offers an opportunity to be part of an award winning charity that uses sport as a tool for social good. The Foundation’s Trustees have overall control of, and legal responsibility for the charity. The current Board of Trustees is made up of people from all walks of life who bring to the table a wealth of professional experience. In all cases, Trustees offer their experience pro bono, lending the Foundation the benefit of their expertise as a volunteer. Reasonable expenses are remunerated. The term of office is 3 years; trustees may serve a maximum of 3 consecutive terms. The minimum time commitment is four days per year, made up of board and sub committee meetings held in Cardiff.
