Cardiff City FC Community Foundation is expanding its Traineeship programme as we look to reach even more young people who aren't in education, employment or training.

The Foundation is setting up a brand-new hub in Caerphilly Leisure Centre to support young people through giving advice, supporting techniques, sharing experiences and opportunities to become work-ready or progress into further education.

The Traineeship Programme is part of the Foundation's Future Pathways offer.

The 12-26-week programme offers young people the opportunity to unlock their potential without the pressures of mainstream education, focussing on developing soft skills within a flexible environment.

Through the Traineeship programme, Cardiff City FC Community Foundation has worked with over 70 young people since August 2018.

The Foundation is able to offer internal progression opportunities through the Future Pathway's Programme, supporting young people advance to study towards a BTEC Level 1, and BTEC Level 2 in Sport as well as alternative college courses.
