Entering the world of work can be a tough nut to crack. Our unique Traineeship Engagement course is designed to give young people the advice, techniques, experience and opportunity to become work-ready or progress into further education.

The 12-26-week engagement programme offers young people the opportunity to unlock their potential without the pressure to achieve qualifications, focussing on developing soft skills within a flexible environment and providing opportunities for work-based placements in sport and active Leisure.

This is followed by a 26-52-week Level One Programme, which allows learners to combine studies and practical experience tailored for a career in the Sport and Active Leisure sector.
