Over 100 primary schools benefited from the festival during the first national lockdown, and with Welsh-medium resources now available, we're expecting even more schools, children and parents to kick off their week with the #BluebirdsFromHome Festival.

Cardiff City FC men’s and women's first-team players will set fun fitness challenges children can try at home.

The action-packed week will conclude with a virtual sports day on Friday 12th February. This will involve a range of creative and inclusive activities with no P.E equipment required, just a few everyday household items.

Schools can sign up to join the festival and will receive resource packs the on 1st February.

Parents, if your school has not signed up, we'll be uploading all daily resources to our website!

Leanne Gibbs, a parent from Phillipstown Primary School, New Tredegar, said:

My son Harijac has loved doing the tasks set by Cardiff City FC Foundation. As a huge football fan, these tasks were football-related and fun, so a winner in our house and he had lots of fun whilst learning. I’m so grateful to have access to these resources during lockdown.
