Cardiff City FC Foundation was joined by Cardiff City FC's Gary Madine, Ben Margetson and Jake Evans as they joined 50 primary school pupils in getting active with Sport Cardiff at Cardiff University Sports Village.

The players tried their hand at a number of different sports, including squash, tennis and boules, receiving guidance from the pupils that were taking part, before taking the time to present standout performers with medals, sign autographs and pose for photographs.

The Bluebirds Charity work in collaboration with Sport Cardiff to inspire primary school children to take part in physical activity as we encourage healthier, more active lifestyles.

Primary Stars uses the power of the Cardiff City brand to inspire and encourage primary school children aged 5-12 to take part in physical activity, learn and develop important life skills.

The project engages with over 5,000 primary school children from 50 schools across South Wales every year, with sessions looking to tackle challenging PHSE topics such as resilience, diversity, self-esteem and fair-play.
