Cardiff City Kicks Experiences
Community youth groups and charities can immerse themselves in the Cardiff City FC experience...
Premier League Kicks uses the power of football and sport to inspire young people to reach their potential, in some of the most highneed areas in England and Wales...
Why the project is needed?
Kicks creates safe, positive spaces for young people who may lack support, helping them stay active and avoid anti-social behaviour.
How did we help?
We expanded outreach to underrepresented groups, strengthened mental health support, and built clearer pathways from Kicks into education and employability.
What are the results?
97% of participants report better mental and emotional wellbeing, driven by youth feedback and programme collaboration.
Premier League Kicks, funded by the Premier League through the Premier League Foundation, uses the power of football and sport to inspire young people to reach their potential in some of the most high-need areas in England and Wales.
Launched in season 2006/07, in partnership with the Metropolitan Police, the programme supports young people in regular, positive and fun activity, while helping to create stronger, safer, more inclusive communities.
Cardiff City FC Community Foundation's Premier League Kicks sessions give young people aged 11-18 access to free football and personal development opportunities in a safe, supportive environment.
