Cardiff City FC Community Foundation's Kicks project is a youth outreach project that aims to create safer communities and reduce offending.

As a Phase 1 return to Kicks being delivered in the community, the Foundation has started to deliver detached youth work within a small number of South Wales communities.

Detached youth work is targeted at young people and takes place on young people's territory, such as the streets, estates and parks.

We will be partnering with South Wales Police and Local Authority Youth Services to support young people aged 11-19 by offering interventions and in some cases preventative action, designed to raise awareness of risk and crime-related behaviours.

Our coaches are beginning to walk the streets in our communities so please feel free to introduce yourself and find out what Kicks has to offer for young people during the lockdown period.

Cardiff City FC Foundation coaches are currently operating in the following areas:

Cardiff – Caerau, Ely, Riverside Butetown, Grangetown, Splott

Rhondda Cynon Taff – Treorchy & Pontypridd.
