This Easter holiday saw the Foundation launch its Bluebirds Ability Soccer School, providing inclusive play and football sessions for children with a disability.

Fourteen children attended the Bluebirds Ability Soccer School which is open to anyone with a disability aged five and over who wants to take part in sport during the school holiday.

The Foundation are delighted to provide opportunities for young people with a disability to access sport during the school holiday, helping to remove barriers to participation. Bluebirds Ability Soccer Schools are supported by the PLBT Disability Inclusion Fund.

This works in tandem with the Bluebirds Charity's Bluebirds Ability sessions that use sport as a tool to encourage physical health and activity, social interaction and improve confidence.

Everyone is welcome at our Bluebirds Ability Soccer Schools and weekly sessions. Our coaches make sure all of the participants are given the best possible experience and reap the benefits of taking part in regular sport.
