Cardiff City FC Foundation were delighted to welcome a number of first team players from both our men's and women's teams to our October Soccer Schools during the half-term holidays.

At our Cardiff session in Cardiff City House of Sport, Nathaniel Mendez-Laing and Lee Peltier took part in a Q&A with our outfield participants, before getting some of the children to show off their skills and pose for photographs.

Goalkeepers Brian Murphy and Alex Smithies also came along to surprise participants on the Foundation's specialised goalkeeping Soccer School, as the lads joined in with the session before also sitting down and answering questions from the children.

Cardiff City FC Women's team members Eryn Gibbs and Daisy Connolly visited our girls-only sessions, which saw them join in with the small sided matches before receiving questions from the girls and finding out more about how Eryn and Daisy became inspired to play football.

Joe Ralls was also on hand to accompany the Foundation to Rougemont School in Newport, as he helped present the participants with their medals and certificates before taking time out for photographs and signatures.

Soccer Schools are now available to book for the Christmas holidays, more information can be found here.
