More than 30 headteachers and members of senior leadership teams from primary schools across South Wales attended Cardiff City Stadium to celebrate the impact of the Premier League Primary Stars project.

The event was hosted by Primary Stars participants from Herbert Thompson Primary School in Ely, who explained to guests each aspect of the project and the benefits they’ve experienced since taking part.

Cardiff City FC Community Foundation’s staff work with teachers to deliver fun, educational sessions to improve children’s reading and writing skills. The practical sessions aim to increase participation in competitive sport and engage with more than 5,000 children across South Wales each year.
