Cardiff City FC Community Foundation are pleased to announce that Cardiff City Supporters' Trust has made a £3,000 donation to support our work.

The donation, designated to support a student on the Foundation’s BTEC Level Three programme, will provide additional resources, IT equipment and training kit.

Foundation Director, Gavin Hawkey said: “I’m extremely grateful to Cardiff City Supporters' Trust for their donation to support the work of the Foundation.

“The support from the Trust will help a young person with their progression into further education and employment.”

Cardiff City Supporters' Trust Chair Keith Morgan said: “We are very pleased to support the valuable work of the Foundation across South Wales and feel it is crucial that we also contribute to local society.”

Cardiff City FC Community Foundation provide a unique post-16 education programme allowing students to combine sport with their studies, as they work towards a BTEC Sport qualification.

Donations such as this will help the Foundation’s education programme continue to thrive. Statistics from 2017 show that 100% of the Foundation’s students who completed their BTEC Level Three qualification have progressed into further education or employment, while 97% of students go on to attain their qualification.
