Moving from primary to secondary school is an important milestone, but for many children, it can be a daunting prospect.
At primary school, Logan struggled to interact and focus on classroom tasks, often resulting in him distracting his classmates.
Logan was selected to be a part of the Premier League Primary Stars project to support his transition from primary to secondary school. The Foundation coaches focused on improving his behaviour and attitude towards learning.
Since taking part in the project, Logan’s eagerness to achieve in the classroom has drastically improved. The Foundation coaches were able to offer practical advice and emotional support, through classroom-based sessions and PE to help remove the stress of adapting to a new environment, new teachers, and making new friends.
"The project has been really, really good for me. It has helped me make new friends and has helped improve my learning. I’ve definitely changed for the better in school and enjoy going now."
As a reward for Logan’s hard work, Cardiff City FC treated him to a matchday mascot experience during a home fixture.
