Cardiff City FC Foundation has been supporting this year’s Anti-Bullying Week from Monday 11th November until Friday 15th November 2019.

This year’s theme is Change Starts with Us. Its message is that a small change can make a big difference and it iterates that:

Whether verbal, physical, online or in person, bullying has a significant impact on a child’s life well into adulthood. By making small, simple changes, we can break this cycle and create a safe environment for everyone. Together, we can challenge bullying. Change starts with a conversation. It starts with checking in. It starts with working together.

It starts here, now and with us.

The Foundation has been working with both primary and secondary school children on our Premier League Primary Stars and Inspires Programmes, raising awareness about bullying and what actions to take if they themselves or someone else in school is being bullied.

Prior to Cardiff City vs. Bristol City, Foundation mascots also wore Anti-Bulling Week wrist bands to show their support for the campaign, which looks to tackle all forms of bullying in both primary and secondary education.

If you are worried about the IMMEDIATE safety of a child or an adult at risk, please call the Police using 999.
